DMCA Takedown Notice and Policy

At ABibliophile.com, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), it is our policy to respond to clear and properly formatted notices of alleged copyright infringement.

1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that your copyrighted work has been used on our website in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notice including the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) or location(s) on our website where the allegedly infringing material is found.
  • Your full contact information:

    • Email Address
  • A statement by you: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted materials described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  • A statement under penalty of perjury: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Important Notes

  • Submitting a false or bad-faith DMCA notice may result in legal liability.
  • We may forward the contents of your notice to the user who posted the allegedly infringing material.
  • Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing content and notify the affected user.

3. Submitting a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notification that includes the following:

  • Your full name, address, and phone number.
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its original location on the site.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury: “I have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate civil court located in Punjab, Pakistan.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

We will forward your counter-notification to the original complainant. If we do not receive a lawsuit notice within 10–14 business days, we may reinstate the content.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

We reserve the right to terminate the accounts or block access for users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights or who violate our copyright policy.
